Following the successful concert last July 16, #galingNAMCYA is headed to Viet Nam this August.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Philippines-Viet Nam bilateral relations, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), and the Ministry of Culture and Sports and Tourism (MOCST) of Viet Nam, agreed to hold the Viet Nam Cultural Days in the Philippines (held in July) and the Philippine Cultural Days in Viet Nam for the year 2016 (August 16-20).

To celebrate the Philippine Cultural Days in Viet Nam, the Philippines will be sending a delegation of artists and exhibitors to Hanoi. Chosen to represent the Philippines are prizewinners and alumni of the National Music Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA).

Performing for Viet Nam will be Carlo Antonio Juan (guitar), Stephanie Aguilar (soprano), Antonio Maigue (flute), Luci Magalit (piano), Gabriel Paguirigan (piano), String Quartet from the Manila Symphony Orchestra namely, Sara Maria Gonzales (violin), Christian Tan (violin), Kim Carl Mirandilla Ng (viola), Arnold Josue, violoncello, and NAMCYA alumni and current Secretary-General Renato B. Lucas (violoncello).

The group will be presenting two different programs at the Hanoi Opera House and the Lam Son Theater.
